MLM Tips For Your Fan Page

So, you have your Fan Page up on Facebook, you’ve created a Likes Ad to gain followers, and now it’s time to start creating some content.  

Before doing that, it’s important to identify what message you’re wanting to convey to your audience.  For example, I teach Network Marketers how to create success and build their business, so most of the content that I create will be tips on how to do that.  

Another example would be if you’re in the skincare industry, you would want to focus most of your content around sharing information that would inspire people to take better care of their skin.  Therefore, it’s important to know what you’re offering and how it can help solve the problems of others.

Here are some content ideas:

• Blog Posts
• Tips
• Images: Infographics, Memes, Cartoons, behind-the-scenes, etc.
• Lifestyle Pictures
• Inspirational Quotes and Images
• Videos
• Articles
• Webinar Invites
• Polls
• Interviews (of Influencers)
• Free Resources
• Offers (just be sure to keep this to about 1 out of every 10 posts.

If you want to keep your engagement up, it’s a good idea to post 2-5 times a day using a variety of the content ideas above.  

Once you’ve got some content created, it is a good idea to create some Page Post Engagement Ads (another fancy way of saying “Boost Your Post”)

So if you look at the picture, you’ll see this is one of my posts on my Fan Page.  Since the majority of your content will not reach your audience organically, it’s a good idea to boost some of them so they will show up in the newsfeed of more people.  

Also, keep in mind that although you do not have to use paid advertising, it will just allow you to reach more people at a faster rate if you do.  

So, the first step is to figure out which post you want to boost and then simply click the “Boost Post” button as seen in the picture.  

 

Now, once you click on “Boost Post” it will take you to a screen and there are a few things to note.  First, always target your fans as they’ve already came to your page and want to see what you’re posting.  Second, you can set your budget (whatever you are comfortable with) by clicking on the drop down menu.  Third, pick how long you want your ad to run.  Finally, click “Boost” and it will be submitted to Facebook for review (this can sometimes take up to 24 hours).  

Final Fan Page Tips:

Engage with those who like or comment on your posts and recognize that they have come to your page.  I also reach out to everyone who has “Liked” my page thanking them.  I’ve only had a couple of people ever reach out to me when I’ve liked their page and it definitely set them apart.  Remember that people don’t come to Facebook to shop, they come to socialize so building relationships are important if you are looking to create that like, know, and trust factor.  I will personally say that once you begin building that relationship, people will be attracted to you and you will grow your business.  It’s not going to happen overnight so be sure to stay consistent.
