How To Create Success:

The first step to creating a successful business is making the decision.  Oftentimes I hear people say, “I’m gonna do this, I’m gonna do that” and then things always end up coming up or there is always some excuse as to why they’re not actually getting started.  In order to create success on any level, you have to make the decision.  Time is going to pass regardless so why not begin working towards making your dreams and desires a reality? 

The second step is to always remain a student.  It’s crazy how people will talk about wanting to be successful in their home based business but then they don’t want to invest any time or money into it.  The reality is, I’ve yet to hear of any person who has gone on to become a top earner who didn’t invest in their education.  If money is a little tight, your company should have some type of training available in your back office so start there.  You can also listen to podcasts (free app on your phone), read books, follow trainers who can give you tips and advice, get on webinars, etc.  

I can’t express to you enough how important personal development is.  If you’re not great at prospecting, you’re going to need to get better at this skill set.  Same goes for closing, marketing, and follow-up.  I would also begin looking at this as an investment and not just an extra cost.  There were times when I didn’t really have the extra money to buy a course but I knew it would help me.  Therefore, I went around the house to see what things we weren’t using that I could sell to come up with the money.  I’m not going to get into that today but there are all kinds of creative ways to make some extra cash, just from old stuff you’re not using.
