What You Should Be Doing On Social Media To Grow Your Business:

Stay tuned because on Wednesday, I’ll be sharing my top 5 Don’t’s on social media but today, it’s all about my top 5 Do’s!  These are all things that you can immediately begin to implement.  

  1. Make sure you have your profile picture as a picture of YOU!!  Even more importantly, a picture of you smiling because when your are connecting and networking with people, the first thing they do is look at your profile. When someone looks at your profile, if you have a picture of you with grumpy face, they’re probably not going to think you’re that approachable.  If you’re trying to build a business, you want people to know that you are approachable, right?
  2. Be someone of value and someone that people will want to follow.  My entire goal when someone comes to my profile is that I want them to get value whether or not they buy anything.  It’s very important to be someone who’s constantly educating and bringing value into the marketplace.  This is how you’ll begin to attract people to you.  
  3. When it comes to your profile, you should strive to educate, entertain, and inspire.  So just go through and look at your profile and the things that you’re posting and see if you’re doing this.  People are drawn to other people who are inspiring, they come to social media to be entertained, etc. I encourage you to run through your own profile and ask yourself if you would follow yourself.  If not, begin revamping it.
