I am doing a free training tonight where I’ll be going in depth on how to really start branding yourself online.  The truth is, most people are raising resistance and turning off a lot of “would be” interested leads simply from the way they are marketing.  If you’d like to learn how to make yourself stand out online and through social media, Register Here for my 7pm CST training.

Manage Your Energy & Have Posture

When it comes to mlm recruiting, it’s very important to manage your energy and have posture.  Let’s dive into an example.  Has anyone ever asked you, “How much is this going to cost me?” before they even know what you’re opportunity is?

Now most network marketers would say something like, “Ya know, we’ve got several different packages available to choose from and blah blah blah” and they go into convincing mode.  I know in the past I have and I’ve learned that it just makes you look desperate.

In this case, posture is key!  Therefore, you can say something like, “Ya know, that depends.  It may not cost you anything, because it may not be a fit for you.”  This is posture!  You must be willing to walk away.  There is power in doing this as your time is money and you will spend a lot of time training and working with this person so choose wisely and go for quality people who are going to see the vision.

You can also say something like, “Are you trying to get in or are you trying to get out?”  Some people will find excuses as to why they don’t want to join so this is a good question to find out if they are just making an excuse or not.

If money is truly an issue and they are serious about wanting to join you in business, ask them, “How far off are we?”  If you’re business kit is $500, by asking them this question, it will allow you to see how much of the $500 they have.  If they say they are $200 off from having it all, then that’s a lot easier then trying to come up with all of it.  Once you know how much they are needing, then you can start brainstorming ideas on how to help them come up with the rest.  Do they have stuff lying around the house they can sell?  Can they borrow the money from a family member?  Pick up a few extra shifts at work?  This will help get them into solution mode instead of excuse mode.
