Life Lessons From A Children’s Book

Today is a little bit different as I’m going to share some life lessons from a children’s book that I just got for my daughter.

Watch the short video below and then pick up a copy if you have kids, grandkids or other family members that could benefit.

Did You Know?

On May 21st, me and a buddy will be hosting our first Home Business Bootcamp for entrepreneurs?!  We will be diving deep into marketing, branding, prospecting, recruiting and more.  If you’re close to Southwest Tennessee or know anyone who is, check out the details here!  Hope to see you there.

Why Mindset Is So Important

As an entrepreneur or home business owner, working on your mindset daily is critical if you want to create long term success.  I see people all the time who are frustrated and riddled with fear and doubt and honestly, they just continue getting in their own way.  Ray Higdon has said that if you don’t think you need mindset training to just look at your results.  If you’re not where you want to be, that’s a good indicator you need mindset training.  Pretty powerful, huh?

Do you ever find yourself second guessing whether you should pick up the phone, shoot a video, learn how to blog, or maybe you’re scared of what others might think if they knew what you were doing?  How easy do you get frustrated, overwhelmed or down about where you are?

See, all those feelings can be reduced when you focus on mindset.  If you find yourself in a negative state, get around others who are like minded because they will empower and inspire you.  Read books, listen to podcasts, or whatever you can do on a daily basis but work on yourself.

Life Lessons From A Children’s Book

I bought my little girl a book called, Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster and woooah, what a great lesson to be learned around mindset and silencing those limiting beliefs.  If you have kids or grandkids, I definitely recommend picking it up.

  1. Great job on the Boot Camp, you’re going to crush it!! I use to play the “What if” game all the time, then I joined a daily mindset call everyday and things improved!!
Seems like a great book for everyone to read. Cheers and thanks

    1. Thanks Mike, looking forward to the bootcamp and many people play the “what if” game and mindset training can help a lot with that.

  2. It’s amazing how open a child’s mind can be to any opportunity, as well as their imagination and determination to get things done. Many lessons can be learned from the little ones. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Awesome post, Sherri. I agree with you, we learn so much from kids, especially in doing mindset training. Just like a child, whose mind has been trained to visualize the good results, marketers need to get our minds properly trained, too.

  4. Another great post Sherri…. We get taught so much as children that we really just don’t understand but is so very important…. Thanks for sharing this

  5. Mindset is so important! Sometimes the journey we take can come in the form of failure but is really designed to increase our belief/mindset. Thank you for sharing!

  6. great post Sherri children are amazing and can teach us so much, I learn all the time from my grand children.. more and more as they get older thanks for sharing
