Marketing Strategy To Build Your Online Presence:
I’ve been really diving in and learning some great tactics to grow your business online and I’ve discovered that video marketing is extremely powerful. Here are some statistics I grabbed regarding video.
YouTube: (View more stats from their press room)
- Has over one billion users – almost a third of all people on the internet watch video on YouTube. Every single day people watch hundreds of millions of hours of video.
- YouTube overall reaches more 18-34 year olds and 18-49 year olds than any cable network in the US.
- Watch time is up 60% (this is the hours people spend watching video)
I thought it was also interesting that the average user spends 88% more time on a website that has videos verses not. (I guess I need to be adding more myself, right?)
I also read that people remember only 20% of what they hear, 30% of what they see, but a whopping 70% of what they see and hear! Are you seeing how powerful this can be for your business?
If you’re running a business, you should be creating content by adding value and solving the problems of your target market, so why not increase your engagement by shooting videos?
