Are you familiar with affiliate marketing or does this sound like a foreign term?  A year ago, I had no idea what it was but I discovered it’s a pretty big industry that continues to grow.  Being in the network marketing industry, adding in affiliate marketing has been a smart decision for a few reasons.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is where you are able to market the products created by other people.  For example, because I am a member of MLSP, when Ray Higdon launched his revised 3 Minute Expert Course on how to become an authority in any niche, I was able to share that course with others, using a link specific to me.  When someone clicked on my link and bought the course, I was paid a one-time commission.

Affiliate marketing is not the same as network marketing or mlm in that you only get paid on sales you personally made.  In network marketing, you often get paid on several different levels (explained more in the below video).    

How Do I Become an Affiliate?

There are tons of affiliate offers out there and the easiest way to find them is to search google (I google most everything).  Although each has their own criteria for joining, many are free to sign up for.
