Your “Why” is Not Enough

If you’re in the Network Marketing, chances are you’ve been told to really think about Your “Why” and write it down.  Your “Why” simply put, is the reason you joined the company in the first place.  It could be to retire your spouse, have a shameless shoe fund, pay some bills, have the extra money to go on vacation, etc.  Your “Why” is important but if you’re wanting to create long-term success, it’s simply NOT ENOUGH.  Let me explain…..

Your “Why” is commercially digestible and external.

When you tell someone Your “Why,” most often you’ll get some type of payoff like a pat on the back because it’s noble of you to want to retire your spouse, pay off bills, put back money so you’re kids can go to college, am I right?  The thing is, it’s not the right kind of payoff.

However, 97% of people who join Network Marketing still end up quitting, why do you think that is?  My opinion….. Your “Why” simply isn’t enough!!

It’s Not So Much Your “Why” As It Is Your WHO!

“Pain Pushes You Until A Vision Pulls You.” -Rev. Dr. Michael Beck

About a year into my business, I looked back and was frustrated because I just wasn’t seeing the results that I wanted.  Yea, I had made progress but not the kind of progress that I had hoped for.  That’s when I really started researching and decided to get some coaching.  The first thing we discussed was a Vision.  See, a Vision is sooo much more important than simply knowing Your “Why” because a Vision is really digging deep into WHO you want to become.

  • Who do you want to grow into as a person?
  • How do you want others to describe you as?
  • What do you want people to say about you?
  • WHO do you want to become?

Your WhyThe vision of who you want to become will also include all of Your “Why’s.”  If you want to create massive success, sit down in a quiet place and really think about your vision, write it down, I want you to really feel you being this person.

Creating and having a vision is the most important thing you can do for yourself and your business.  Without a vision, you will not keep going.  However, if you have a strong vision of WHO YOU WANT TO BECOME, I promise that it WILL pull you through the bad days! It’s your vision that will force you to keep going, keep being consistent, even on the days you don’t feel like it.
