Two Simple Ways to Come Up With Valuable Content for Your Audience

Have you struggled with creating content on the daily? This is something that a lot of entrepreneurs grapple with. Because of that, I present you with 2 Simple Ways to Come up With Valuable Content for Your Audience. Rather than repelling people, these two easy tips will attract people instead.

Two Simple Ways to Come Up With Valuable Content for Your Audience

This is a topic that reminds me of a suggestion I recently made to someone on my team. Most companies will often hold conference calls or training calls. For the most part, various leaders will share their stories. These leaders have obviously achieved great success in their endeavors. Write their names down—right away.

  1. Write down the names of those who are doing well in your company.

After getting their names, visit their profile to see what type of posts they’re putting out that creates a lot of engagement. Look at the topics they’re discussing when they create videos. Are they focusing on specific subjects? Do you see what posts are bringing in several comments that generate tons of leads?

Keep a notebook, and begin to make notes as you visit different leaders’ profiles. I’ll often jot down ideas, myself. Not only that, but I’ll often use my notebook for the ideas that quickly pop into my head.

This type of research is a fantastic way to gain inspiration for content that will attract people. This isn’t limited to your company either. Feel free to look at leaders from other network marketing businesses as well. What is it that they’re doing to generate engagement?

Now, one thing I shouldn’t have to mention but there is a need for it is that when you are checking out these different leaders and getting ideas, please do NOT and I repeat DO NOT copy/paste their content.  It’s inauthentic and I think it makes people look bad.

Instead, mirror it.  Get creative and figure out how you can do something similar instead of just copying word for word.

  1. Go back to your old content.

Depending on how new you are, you should be creating daily content already. The second way to get fresh content though, is to take a look at your old content—old videos, old posts—that had a good level of engagement. Ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do I have a new perspective on the topic?
  2. Is there something else that I’ve learned, or do I have a fresh take that I can add to it?

As an entrepreneur, you should always look for personal development growth with each passing day. Read a book. Listen to a podcast. Go to a training and take part in your team calls. All of these things are meant for personal development.

To gain fresh content for my posts, I go back to what I’ve done in the past. Over time, thanks to growth, I’ll look back on old content and realize that there’s so much more I can elaborate on or maybe my opinion has changed, etc. Perhaps I’ve learned something new that I could shed light onto something old. From learning new aspects, I can easily add to the old to make my new content even better and more valuable.

  1. I love the idea of going back and revisiting old content especially if I have a new perspective on it.

To give an example, I’ve been against the flu shot because it always made me sick. Now that I’ve been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes I am now getting the flu shot because diabetics have a 6x the risk of being hospitalized and 3x the risk of dying from the flu. I did a FB live where I shared my evolving position
