Today I’ll be sharing some tips on the best times to post on social media. I went through some great training by a guy named John-Erik and thought it would help you out.
Feel free to share this out with your team if you got some value from it.

What You Need To Know About Facebook
One thing you need to know is that facebook considers new posts that come out in the newsfeed to be more relevant and therefore as more time passes by, the less relevant your posts become (and the less it will be shown).
Also understand that your posts do have a shelf life. One thing I learned was that half of all the engagement your post will get usually happens within the first 90 minutes. 75% of engagement will happen within the first 5 hours and by the 8th hour, your post is typically non-existant (unless it’s getting a ton of engagement).
Training Video: 4 Time Hacks
#1 Always have a post out there working for you
Post 2-5 times a day but don’t put up posts back to back. When you put up posts one after another, they end up competing against each other in the newsfeed. Be sure to spread them out!
#2 Post on your prospects schedule and not yours
Think about who you’re wanting to attract. Then, think about what their schedule looks like throughout the day and then begin posting based on when they are on versus when it’s convenient for you.
#3 Post on the upswings
A cool stat is when you think about when the majority of your prospects are online, don’t post after they’ve already been on and hopped it. You want to post as some of them are getting on and that way, your posts are more likely to be seen by more of them.
#4 Match your content to rhythm
When most people get up in the morning and check their phones, they don’t stay on for long periods. Therefore, it wouldn’t make sense for you to put up content that’s really long or takes a lot of time to consume. So instead, think about putting up something inspirational or quick to digest. Then, at night as people are unwinding and spending more time online, that’s when it would be best to post longer content. Make sense? The video above goes more in depth over each hack so be sure to check it out.
