I struggled for four years in the industry and I can honestly say a big part of why I struggled was because I didn’t have a mentor!
The #1 Reason why you need a mentor is to cut your learning curve
See, you’re inside your business and by being inside your business, you can’t see what a mentor can from an outsider’s perspective.
I would say this year has been a pretty great year for me as far as growth but NOTHING compared to the last 60 days when I actually had a coach working with me (and not even daily). I had my biggest week ever, signing 18 people after ONE call with someone who was able to get a glimpse into what I was currently doing and he simply gave me a blueprint on what to do.
Now… I will say that just having a mentor won’t change your situation unless YOU are willing to TAKE ACTION and implement what they’re teaching you. If you’re willing to implement the steps, it can absolutely explode your business but understand that it may take you more or less time depending on where you’re currently at and what your current skill set is.
Think about this… A child (like my little girl) could learn how to read and write on their own so why go to school? They go to school so teachers (aka mentors) can help them cut their learning curve and learn at a quicker rate!! This is NO different when it comes to your business. Yea, you could eventually learn what it takes to create success (unless you quit first) OR you could work with a mentor/coach and get there at a much quicker rate!

I agree Sherri, a coach/mentor can definitely cut your learning curve. A coach/mentor will challenge your thinking, your goals and your willingness to grow.
Amazing value from mentorship. Right now I am going through a mentorship with my Stock Trading career. Next, I will seek one out for business growth. Thanks for inspiring and congrats on your success!
That’s awesome John! I’m sure you’ll get a ton out of it
I know one thing: If it weren’t for my mentor I would NOT be nearly as successful as I am now. Or on the path towards more growth and success. Its an absolute must!
BOOM Sherri! You hit the nail on the head. A mentor helps you compress time and accelerate your learning curve to get results

Great article Sherri. Everyone needs a mentor!
Excellent post, Sherri! Having a coach or mentor could make a huge impact in your business, especially if you’re stuck when it comes to implementing certain strategies effectively. We certainly should have a mentor, then after awhile we can be one for others.
You’re absolutely right Bill!
