Have you thought about investing your time (and possibly money) on some courses to help your business but overwhelmed at where to even start? I’ll be honest, with the insane amount of trainers and courses out there, it can be quite easy to go cross eyed wondering how to decide which courses to invest in and which ones to ignore. Today, I’m going to give you some mlm tips that have helped me steer clear of shiny object syndrome.

What Is Shiny Object Syndrome?
The easiest definition of shiny object syndrome is someone who is easily distracted and taken off course. Ray Higdon gave a couple of great suggestions on how to help your team avoid it.
The first suggestion is for you to not get shiny object syndrome by staying focused on your mission. The second thing he suggested was to create an environment or team culture that will keep them focused and on track. Don’t have them bouncing around from one day to the next not knowing what they should be doing. Make sense?
How To Decide Which Training/Resources To Invest In:
I’ll tell you from personal experience, I’m an education junkie! I thrive on learning new things and I spend about an hour a day (sometimes more if I have time) on learning new skills and ways to grow my business. With that being said, it can be overwhelming, aggravating, and pretty easy to get so confused on which ones to do that you finally just get up and walk away. OR…. you simply try and do as many as you can on various topics you’re wanting to get better at (not the best idea either).
Remember that your time is very valuable and if you don’t have a specific plan in place, you’ll end up feeling like you’re spinning your wheels. Ever felt that way?
How would you feel if you had a plan in place and could easily narrow down whether you should spend your time on a specific training course? Wouldn’t that feel great?!!
The video below is from a Facebook Live video I did addressing how I personally stay on track and easily determine whether or not I’m going to invest in a course or not.
