I attended an event last weekend that had a phenomenal lineup of speakers and one of them was the amazing (and funny) Todd Falcone!
Today, I’ll be sharing some mlm tips on 7 steps to explosive growth from his presentation. Feel free to share with your team if you got some value.

7 Steps To Explosive Growth
#1 Set realistic expectations early!
Setting realistic expectations needs to be done on day 1! A big reason why there is so much failure and people who are quitting the industry is because they come in with the wrong mindset and expectations. You can’t expect to make $5K a month in 30 days if you’re only working 1 hour a day. Make sense? This industry is ultra rewarding but it’s not easy and it does actually take some work.
#2 Be the example for everyone else to follow
Be the one out there inspiring them with your actions. Market your way out of a slump. Recruit your way out but set the example and show them what’s possible when you take action.
#3 Start them quick and more will stick
Don’t send new reps on a two week training journey. Have them start talking to people right away and help them. Whether that be getting people on 3-way calls, etc.
#4 Work where you’re deserved, not where you’re needed
This is in regards to your team. He talked about spending time with those who are taking action and running with it. A good idea Todd mentioned was printing out your downline report and looking through it to see who’s doing what. Who is working, who’s rank advancing, etc. and put those names on your white board and spend more time with them!
#5 Schedule regular team building time
The ones who are local, spend time on a Saturday role playing and team building. This can even be done over the phone or through webinars or skype sessions.
#6 Don’t ever break the 7-Day rule
Never go more than 7 days without speaking to your action takers and key leaders.
#7 Make a big deal over the tiniest of accomplishments & don’t forget it.
Todd made a good point to always give recognition and praise to those who are taking action, no matter how big or small. Don’t just praise the top recruiters or the ones with the most sales. Also remember that people won’t tell you they quit, they’ll just do it without you knowing so don’t overlook those who are trying.

Those are some great tips Sherri. I think being the example and sharing how you do it will ALL team members works well, and I love the bit about recognising everyone who is at least doing something, no matter how small. Thanks for sharing..
