Does the sales process ever get you scratching your head? Maybe you’re a little confused about the steps you need to take when it comes to whatever it is you’re promoting, I get it!
Today, I’ll be sharing some mlm tips I learned from Rob Fore (the creator of Rank & Stick SEO) at a company event last month. It’s the 3 step process to sell anything.

3 Step Sales Process
You can use this process with everything you sell. 🙂
#1 Pick something to sell
The first step is to obviously find something that you want to sell. This could be a product, service, or income opportunity.
#2 Publish
Once you determine who your best prospects are, the next thing to do is begin publishing compelling content. The best way to do this is to speak their language! Start conducting some keyword research to figure out the exact words and phrases your best prospects are actually using when searching or shopping online.
You can use the google keyword planner (just google that) and you can put in words or a set of words and google will give you analytics on exactly how many searches are being done on a monthly basis.
Now when it comes to publishing your content, give your prospects exactly what they want!! More information, a solution to their problem and relief from the pain they are experiencing. This can be done through social media, a blog post, webinar, podcast, you can host a bootcamp even (which is one thing I’m going to be launching within the next month or two).
Now, another tip is to make sure you are optimizing your content to RANK!! If you’re going after a particular keyword, make sure you have that keyword in your title, the first paragraph, and last paragraph.
#3 Promote your content to rank
Rob stated that if your content isn’t ranking on the first page of the search engines, you’ve wasted your time.
Remember that you can have the BEST product (or whatever you’re promoting) in the world but if no one can find it, you’ve got nothing!
There are two ways that you can promote: Through SEO (search engine optimization where you’re using those keywords) or through advertising.
If you want your content to rank, be sure you’re publishing unique, high quality content. Social media engagement can also help.
