The BIG Mistake That Most People Make Online

The great thing about the whether you’re in network marketing, affiliate marketing or any other home based business is the fact that it’s super low risk due to the upfront investment (which is usually less than $1K).  However, the issue that I see so many make (and heck, I made it myself for four years) is they are coming online and immediately begin blasting their links and vomiting their products all over everyone.

At one point, my newsfeed looked like nothing more than an infomercial and I was right up there spamming with the best of them.  Can you relate?  Here’s the thing… I literally scrolled by other people’s post because it was annoying yet I didn’t get it in my head that other people were thinking the exact same thing about what I was posting.  I only like mine because it was MY ad and I promise, if this is how you’re putting yourself out there, it’s the biggest mistake you can make.

Look at your posts from the past week and ask yourself…

#1 Am I blasting my company name all the time?

If so, know that this is hurting you by constantly mentioning the name of your company.  You lose all curiosity and although it’s great advertisement for the company, it’s doing more harm to you than you may think.

#2 Am I being pitchy?

Are your posts adding value or are they really salesy?  Don’t get me wrong, making sales is how you make your money but there is a way to go about it that will either turn people off or attract them to you.  If they’re pitchy, they’re repelling way more people than they are attracting.
