6 MLM Tips If New to Network Marketing
- Embrace the profession for the long term. I’ve seen it time and time again where people just want to get their toes wet and ‘see’ if it will work out. I’m going to be flat out honest with you here. If you come into Network Marketing just to ‘see’ if it will work, it WON’T so honestly, don’t waste your time if that’s your perspective! Success isn’t going to happen overnight and you must be consistent and look at this as a long-term career if you truly want to be successful.
- You can’t be easily swayed by the opinions of others. It is so crucial that you release your need for acceptance and approval. There are going to be people who don’t agree with your decision or think you’re wasting your time by getting into this industry. If you listen to them and you’re the type that seeks approval from others, you will likely get discouraged fast, end up quitting and you won’t ever have the freedom you desire.
- Do Income Producing Activities, DAILY. The goal is to actively prospect people daily, find out if they are open to what you have and if so, get eyeballs on the presentation. If you’re bummed and think you’re business isn’t going anywhere, ask yourself…”How many eyeballs did I get on the presentation this week?” If you answered none, then it’s your own fault. Actively Prospecting is a huge tip for anyone New to Network Marketing and this is where most of your time should be spent in the beginning.
- Get to Company Events. Getting to your company events is very important if you have any desire to become a top earner. I would also suggest getting your team (once you have one) to these events as well. It’s a great way to get great training, get inspired and surround yourself with like-minded people who are on the same path as yourself.
- Leverage a system such as MLSP. If not this one, then find another one. I discovered My Lead System Pro last month and honestly felt that I had hit a gold mine! It’s an educational platform that not only has an endless amount of training geared at specific skills, but it has systems in place that you can start using immediately to create Profits from those who aren’t open to your particular Network Marketing company. It’s also great to help you begin to generate leads. There is a monthly fee associated with it but you can get a 10 trial for only $10 which is well worth it if you want to give it a test drive first.
- Work on yourself DAILY! You simply cannot grow and become successful if you aren’t working on your education and I would suggest at least 30 minutes a day. This could be listening to a podcast, reading a few chapters in a book, watching a webinar, listening to a conference call, whatever the case may be.
