2 Simple Ways To Reduce Overwhelm And Get You Back On Track

These are tips that I’ve not only implemented in my own life and business but they are also things I teach those I coach and mentor.

#1. Focus on one thing at a time.

The first step is to really focus on one thing at a time. Most people want to have a presence on every social media platform. You’re posting on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Periscope, etc. and no wonder you feel like you’re about to explode!

Start with one platform and really master it. Don’t even worry about other social media platforms until you’re generating a steady amount of leads on one.

Have a solid understanding of marketing and branding and know how you need to be marketing on that particular platform. Then, you can start adding other marketing strategies in as you go.

Stop spinning your wheels! Start focusing on one thing at a time and slowly build your business from there.

#2. Outsourcing.

Start looking at some different areas in your business that you either “don’t know how to do” or “don’t want to do” and start outsourcing it!

Trust me when I say there are tons of people out there who can do it just as well (if not better) and quicker than you!  Your time should be spent on the main income producing activities in your business that others can’t do!

Also, start off slow with this too!  When I hired my first VA, he wasn’t working full time but instead started out with a few hours a week doing time consuming tasks and now he works up to 25 hours a week on those tasks.  I have since added two more VA’s to my team and it has drastically reduced my overwhelm!  This is a topic I dive deep into inside Total Marketing Immersion, including how to setup your systems, where to find help, how to hire, communicate with your team, and more!

These two tips have honestly lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders. I have drastically reduced my stress level when I started implementing them into my life and into my business. Now I can actually do things more productively and focus on my top priorities and so can you!

You have to understand that you’re only one person. As much as you want to be “Superman” or to be “Wonder Woman,” you can’t do it all alone.

  1. Awesome post, Sherri! Mastering one platform is where it’s at. When I started network marketing in 2014, luckily I only had a Twitter account, so I mastered that, little did I know about this principle. But, it really worked out and 4,000 leads later with Twitter, I truly understand this principle. Thanks so much and have an awesome 2017!

  2. Awesome share Sherri – I think too many people try use every platform on earth and get little to no results but if they focused on one place they would see way better results. Great advice

  3. Outsourcing is a stress reliever :)… helps you to focus on major things that you are good at. Started end of last year and I have no intention to stop it. Thanks immensely Sherri!
