The first thing is being a perfectionist.  I talked about this previously but wanted to share a story with you.  

There is a 14 year old kid named Caleb Maddix, if you haven’t heard of him, keep your eyes open because he is definitely a rising star in the world of entrepreneurship.  He has already written a book, he owns his own company, and he is a speaker, trainer, coach,  and travels all over speaking to sales teams. Honestly, he is an inspiration and one heck of a motivator. 

He posted a video back in the fall that he shot at an airport.  I’ve watched the video and I personally loved the message.  He said that he almost didn’t post that video because it wasn’t his best but he threw it up anyways before boarding the plane.  He didn’t think much of it at the time but then it started getting a lot of views.  A couple months later it started gaining more and more traction and what happened was that one video that he almost didn’t post went viral!  It’s now had over one million views.

So my message to you is to not wait for things to be perfect because you’ll be waiting forever.  It’s about the message that you have to share, it’s not about you.  If you ever start to think that you want things just right, I want you to remember Caleb and all the lives that he was able to impact because he set aside trying to be perfect and he focused on the message he wanted to share.  

People are always watching you and you simply never know which video, post, blog, picture, etc. is going to be the one that makes an impact on someone else.  Hey, who’s to say that your next video won’t go viral (wouldn’t that be awesome?).
