One Tip That Can Either Move You Forward or Keep You Stuck

Do you ever feel as if you’re at a standstill in your business? If so, you’re not alone. That’s why I want to share with you some mlm tips.  Specifically, one tip that can either move you forward or keep you stuck.

What is the one tip that can either move you forward in business or keep you stuck? Here it is: Ask yourself better questions. This is something that I learned from Ray Higdon, a network marketing trainer, coach, and speaker. This simple—yet powerful—tip has served me well over the past 18 months!

During the first four years of my business in network marketing, I struggled. I later realized that I wasn’t asking myself the right questions.

Do you find yourself asking these questions?

  • Why aren’t people buying from me?
  • Why aren’t my friends and family joining me?
  • Why aren’t people engaging on my posts?
  • Why am I so frustrated?
  • Why are people joining my team and not doing anything?

These are the type of questions that will keep you from progressing, and staying where you. Stuck.

Rather than that, I want you to focus on more solution-oriented questions. Instead of asking “Why aren’t people buying from me?” ask yourself:

  • What should I do to get people to do business with me?
  • What problem could I solve to impact more people in a positive way?

As a matter of fact, this isn’t limited to our profession. Solution-oriented questions should be asked in any and every aspect of life and business.

In 2016, one of the things that I asked myself about my business was “Why is my retention rate lower than I thought it should be?” I had a lot of signups, and I was impacting lives, but my retention rate was lower than I had hoped for.

What helped was that I didn’t allow myself to be bummed about my lower retention rate—not for long anyway. I didn’t stay in that mindset. Instead, I began to ask myself this question:

  • What can I do to increase my retention rate to help more people when it comes to their businesses?

That question is what ultimately led me to the creation of Total Marketing Immersion, a bootcamp designed by me and two other leaders in the industry. It was created to:

  • Impact more people to simplify the process
  • Allow entrepreneurs to get certain systems set up, such as websites and email lists, as well as having offers created.

One of the things that we did, was run a live bootcamp, and we kept it open for two weeks to allow people to get involved.

One of the questions we asked as a collective group was:

  • How do we get others to take action now?

Ultimately, it led to a solution of having an open enrollment period to get entrepreneurs where they were making that decision.

Another question we asked ourselves during the bootcamp was:

  • What can we do to increase engagement, get more people participating, all while making it fun?

What we came up with was tracking sheets: We gave away weekly prizes, and had people teaming up with accountability partners. We developed several ways to make the group entertaining, and to get entrepreneurs to take action.

I want you to actually think about this, and how it relates to your business and your life. Switch your mindset, and focus on how you can solve the problem (because that’s what it comes down to). This is just one simple and powerful tip that can either move you forward in your business or keep you stuck. It’s all about asking questions.
