MLM Success Tips- How To Create Curiosity

MLM Success Tips: How To Create Curiosity

Would you like to know how to get people reaching out to you about your products, service, or opportunity?

Today, I’ll be sharing some mlm success tips on how to create curiosity on social media in a way that forces people to reach out.

Heads Up

Tonight at 9pm EST, we are bringing out an industry guru who’s an expert when it comes to Facebook Advertising.  This guy usually charges $2K/hour but he’s all yours tonight for free and he is going to show you how to setup your first ad and give you the #1 Secret to Paid Traffic on Facebook (along with a ton more)!  Grab Your Seat Here!

The Wrong Way To Market

A big mistake that I see many people make is constantly mentioning the name of the mlm company they’re with and throwing up pictures of their products.  What happens when you do this, is it raises resistance and does more harm than good.

Let’s take the health and wellness industry for example.  I see a lot of companies who have some type of shake they offer.  Then, what happens next is consultants will begin putting up pictures of the shake and begin talking about how awesome it is.  I’ve seen many with the company name written on the cup they’re using, or reps who may put up a picture of the shake in it’s packaging which clearly shows exactly what it is.  When you do this, know that you have lost every ounce of curiosity!

Think about the last time you watched a preview to a movie (I actually just gave this example on a recent blog but it’s too good of an analogy). What is the point of a preview?  Well, they give you just enough information to peak your curiosity and get you really wanting to see it.  Am I right? Now what if during that same preview, they gave away the ending of the movie?  Would you be as apt to want to see it?  Probably not!

Now, think about that same concept when it comes to marketing on social media.  If someone knows what product you’re using or what company you’re with, you’ve just given them the ending of the movie.  So instead of reaching out to you for information, they’ll just reach out to google and do their own research and this is NOT what you want to happen and it’s definitely not smart or clever marketing.

How To Create Curiosity

The goal when it comes to social media marketing is to do it in such a way that forces those who are interested in what you have, to reach out to you!  In the short video below, I share a couple of examples on exactly how to do this.

  1. Curiosity is a big thing, as build are curious and will come to you and start to ask you questions. It is so much more easier speaking that are coming to you.

  2. Great post. I agree with you about curiosity. Once people see a “shake” they assume they know everything about it. By creating curiosity they want to learn more.

  3. Perfect post Sherri! I see this all too often. Newbie DS give away so much of the control by giving away all the juicy details… Thanks for sharing! =)

    1. Yep April! It’s definitely an easy but more effective way to market. Simply, don’t mention the name. 🙂

  4. Great post Sherri! Generating curiosity can definitely make or break your online business, it’s really sad so many people are still being taught the old/ineffective way.
