Have you been really trying to figure out what your brand is or who your brand is but you’re still a little unclear how to put all those pieces together? Maybe you’re a little unsure about the different types of posts that you need to be putting up—whether that be on your Fan Page or your profile.

If that’s you, keep reading because today I’m going to be giving you some simple tips on how to get crystal clear on your brand as well as the types of posts that you can be putting up.

How To Get Crystal Clear On Your Brand

Ultimately, your brand comes down to a few simple questions:

—>Who do you want to be known as?

—>When people say your name, what do you want them to think of?

—>What space in the marketplace do you want to fill?

This was something that I struggled with personally when I came online and started really learning about attraction marketing and branding.  For several months when I first came on the scene and really started diving into this, I was posting some sort of business tips and some product type tips and then I realized that other industry leaders weren’t really doing the same.  

This got me wondering….. What was I missing? 

When you try to brand yourself as an expert in multiple areas, it starts confusing your audience. Think of it like this..

If you’re sitting down on a Saturday morning and you’re watching cartoon network (which you know shows cartoons), then all of a sudden the next show that comes on is a Stephen King movie, you might be saying to yourself…. “Wait a minute, this doesn’t align with your brand.  Why are you playing a movie like this on a network that clearly shows cartoons?” Make sense?  

This is also what I told to one of the girls that I’m mentoring who is in a health and wellness company. She was really confused about which direction she wanted to go in.

She wanted to brand herself as more of an overall health and wellness person. So I asked her, what do you want to be known as? Do you really want to go after and empower people to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle? Do you want to be branded as more of a health and wellness person? Or, you want to empower people to start their own business, giving them tips and all different types of things to do in regards to branding? 

That’s really what it comes down to when you sit down and think about which direction you want to go with it.  What fires you up??

Now, let’s say you want to be known as the health and wellness expert, but you still want to build a team. By all means, you can still do that through prospecting. Let’s say you want to be a coach or a trainer but you still want to get customers into your network marketing company. You can totally do that! Start building relationships but do that on the back end for all those conversations. What’s important is that your marketing needs to be streamlined and you aren’t all over the place.  

These are some of the different types of posts that you could put in with that (based on the health & wellness example)

—>You can give tips in regards to just overall wellness.

—>You could give simple exercise tips.

—>You can do posts on simple healthy recipes to feed your family.  

—>Give tips on how to boost your energy in the afternoon and get over that midday slump.

—>Take people on a journey with you, be transparent and share your own story and invite people to come along with you.

Aside from these, you can also post inspirational quotes and stuff that will empower others. Remember, it doesn’t need to be just limited to only one thing. There are so many different types of things that you could put in there when it comes to living a healthier lifestyle.

    WOW…WOW!!! This is one of the best blogs I have read this year!! I have been drilling this into a few of my teammates and coaching clients. I know people who are into make-up or weight-loss, but they post recipes all day. Then they wonder why people don’t engage with them. Thanks for sharing this.
